Chapter 1 - Ice cream?
It was a rather hot summer day; Lauren had decided to go out for some ice cream. Her long dark brown hair swung back and forth as she made her way to the local shop, down a small road. She had been traveling for far too long now, unaware of the dangers in this little town. Unaware that she, herself, was being watched. Lauren eventually made it to the local shop and poked her head inside. In the corner there was a girl in long black hair, with red tips. She wore a nice blue sundress and a sun hat. She happily ate some ice cream. Sniffing the air, Lauren walked all the way inside. [This place actually carries ice cream…] She went on over to the counter then leaned on it, waiting for the register guy to come back. At that time, the door opened up and two boys walked on in.
Lauren turned her head to start at the two. One had black hair, with yellow eyes, and rather tall, if he were to be compared to her. He wore black T-shirt, making Lauren feel rather hot. And to make it worst, he actually wore gothic pants and combat boots. [Pants, you have got to be kidding me! Pants are for the weak.] She turned her attention to the other boy. He had purple eyes and hair, but he too was sort of tall. He also wore pants, normal tennis shoes, and a jacket. [Well, then… That is something you don’t see every day. Then again, I am not that different.] She stared down at her blue T-shirt, and black shorts, and flip-flops. [I wear this in the snow, so I guess there are others that do weird stuff as I do.] They both got in line behind her.
The boy in black suddenly sighed “…And to make it worst, I always been there for her, and then when I need someone to talk to, she told me to grow a pair and just left me!” [Seems they have been talking…]
“Don’t worry, Crow.” The other boy put his hand on Crow’s shoulder. “That’s why I’m here.” Lauren couldn’t help herself. She slowly turned toward the two and smirked, until both the boys stared at her. “What…?”
“S-s-so, I take it you ha-have a thing for your fr-friend…” Lauren whispered. [Even though I know I can take them on in a fight, my shyness is still taking over.] Crow glared and the other boy just made a funky expression.
“We are brothers…” Crow spoke coldly. “And if you don’t mind, I’d like you to keep your mouth and turn around.”
“Alright guys, no need to-“The boy began to speak, but Lauren laughed interrupting him.
“Wow that was so threatening!” Lauren held up her hands. “Watch out guys, we got a bad ass over here!” The girl in the sundress stood up and walked on over.
“Excuse me.” Everyone turned their head to her. “I’m Bianca and if you haven’t noticed…” Bianca pointed to the close sign.
“Who would close this early?!” Lauren hissed.
“W-well, it is six in the afternoon.” Bianca spoke softly. Crow sighed.
“Ah, well… Come on Makuda, let’s get going.” Both boys turn then a loud noise began to screech and the ice cream shop began to shake violently. “Earthquake?!” Lauren stared outside and three people made their way over here.
“I-It’s them again!” Bianca gasped. She picked her sunhat off her head and tossed it to the side, making it slide along the counter. [Like a boss.]

Yeah, so I never really allowed many to see my work of writing. So please enjoy, don't like it? Give advice! Like it? Yes, I am doing something right. Get it? Got it? GOOD! 
So I am going to continue this if people like it or not, because okay, I have to admit, that ending was kind of cool. I'd really like to know what is going to happen next.
By the way, those brackets. [These things.] Is what the main character, Lauren, is thinking. Why? BECAUSE I DEEMED IT SO! ^^
Oh but I should warn you guys. There are going to be the occasion cuss word. There shouldn't be many, but I am still giving a heads up.
